As A Kid, I Feared Gila Monsters

I don’t know what nature show I watched or book I read, but I feared Gila monsters specifically when I was young. Not that you find them anywhere in Wisconsin aside from a zoo, maybe, but I was afraid of them nevertheless. But even now I would not have one as a pet.
