The issue is cleanliness, he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s really unsanitary to have something like that and spit it out on the ground,&#8221; Pagano said. &#8220;It&#8217;s like a blob of tar or something.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Apparently, St. Peters has elected someone who has never stepped in gum on a public street.
