The results you get will be more relevant, which means that I am really posting about you.  For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><code>Brian Noggle<\/code> will return a boatload of pages which could include <code>Brian<\/code> Smith playing football against his high school&#8217;s nemesis <code>Noggle<\/code>.   Werd, check it: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baylorsigmanu.com\/currentmembers.asp\" target=\"new\">Brian Moquist and Nathan Noggle (no relation) went to Baylor<\/a>; Brian P. McCarthy and Roy Harris Noggle are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aia-arizona.org\/sacaia\/chapterNoggle.htm\" target=\"new\">AIA members in Arizona<\/a>; and Brian Harvey wrote an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faculty.mcneese.edu\/wyman\/102w\/acid_rain.html\" target=\"new\">article in which he quoted J. C. Noggle<\/a>.  All of these results are worthless, and could be winnowed from the search.\n<li><code>\"Brian Noggle\"<\/code>, on the other hand, narrows the search to people named Brian Noggle, but I&#8217;ve never, I swear, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leaguescoring.com\/Results\/Aub52020033623.html\" target=\"new\">played on a Thursday Night League<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.runningnetworkarchives.com\/okrunner\/results\/cjmo.html\" target=\"new\">participated in a cowboy jamboree<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbhcsd.org\/high\/ptsa\/herald0202.pdf\" target=\"new\">attended high school this century<\/a>.  But if you Googled <code>\"Brian Noggle\"<\/code>, you&#8217;d get all of these things as well as my Web tracks.\n<li><code>\"Brian J. Noggle\"<\/code>, on the other hand, poses a direct hit, as people from way back who&#8217;ve Googled me have undoubtedly discovered.  I do write this blog, I did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tdan.com\/i020fe04.htm\" target=\"new\">write white papers for MetaMatrix<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kdhx.org\/reviews\/shutup.html\" target=\"new\">wrote a skit for a theatre company I used to work with<\/a>, got published in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fandm.edu\/CampusLife\/Organizations\/Prolog\/Prolog.pdf\" target=\"new\">this magazine<\/a>, and tried to convince myself and others that <a href=\"http:\/\/cnwn.tripod.com\/noggle.html\" target=\"new\">role-playing games offered good research<\/a> potential for writers.<\/ul>\n<p>Just a thought for you fellows in the printed media who are Googling yourselves to see what people on the Web are saying about you.
