{"id":35635,"date":"2026-09-04T07:45:53","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T12:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=35635"},"modified":"2026-09-03T12:59:18","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T17:59:18","slug":"found-bookmark-the-poetry-assignment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2026\/09\/04\/found-bookmark-the-poetry-assignment\/","title":{"rendered":"Found Bookmark: The Poetry Assignment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot to mention yesterday when I wrote the book report on the MacMillan&#8217;s Pocket Classics edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2026\/09\/03\/book-report-the-rape-of-the-lock-2-by-alexander-pope-1907\/\" target=\"_new\"><em>The Rape of the Lock<\/em><\/a> that I apparently am only the second owner of the book.<\/p>\n<p>The book was not marked up\/underlined like the other two Pope textbooks that have recently crossed my desk, but it did contain the previous owner&#8217;s homework assignment from 1910.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/popestherapeofthelockoutlinep2.jpg\" target=\"_new\" border = \"0\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/popestherapeofthelockoutlinep2.jpg\" border = \"0\" width=\"800\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/popestherapeofthelockoutlinep1.jpg\" target=\"_new\" border = \"0\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/popestherapeofthelockoutlinep1.jpg\" border = \"0\" width=\"800\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>No letter grade; just a comment from the instructor or professor.<\/p>\n<p>I tried to make out the name atop the assignment and on the flyleaf:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/popestherapeofthelockowner.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>But no luck in reading it or having LLMs interpret it to see what I might learn about her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot to mention yesterday when I wrote the book report on the MacMillan&#8217;s Pocket Classics edition of The Rape of the Lock that I apparently am only the second owner of the book.
