Joe figure; my father&#8217;s then-girlfriend, later-wife bought it for me.  When they were dating and first married, she got us several toys to, I guess, endear us to her or whatever.  Once her son was born, though, we became <em>the other<\/em> who needed to be put down in favor of her issue.  Probably didn&#8217;t help that this time coincided with our moving to Missouri and only coming to Wisconsin for a couple of weeks in the summer, and we were pretty off the hook when we did.<\/p>\n<p>I might even still have it, albeit in pieces (and he&#8217;s probably missing his thumb).  I don&#8217;t see it on the post from <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/16\/a-childhood-joy-withheld-granted\/\" target=\"_new\">eight years ago<\/a> when I finally let my boys play with the G.I. Joes.<\/p>\n<p>He was a soldier.  With a laser rifle.  C&#8217;mon, man, that was cool.
