The film still from the above article is from <em>Way of the Dragon<\/em>.  The eulogies all mention that he was in <em>Walker, Texas Ranger<\/em> most likely because those were in syndication when the journalists were growing up two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t let MfBJN happen to you.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, actor <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2023\/03\/10\/musings-from-brian-j-noggle-still-the-kiss-of-death\/\" target=\"_new\">Robert Blake<\/a> and author <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/27\/literary-world-2\/\" target=\"_new\">Larry McMurtry<\/a> passed away after a mention on this blog.  Someone stay with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who costarred in Lee&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2026\/03\/08\/movie-report-game-of-death-1978-and-game-of-death-ii-1980\/\" target=\"_new\"><em>Game of Death<\/a><\/em> and maybe Dick Van Dyke since I read a <em><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2026\/03\/15\/book-report-diagnosis-murder-the-past-tense-by-lee-goldberg-2005\/\" target=\"_new\">Diagnosis Murder<\/em><\/a> book recently.<\/p>\n<p>And let it be known it was Friar who mentioned Susanna Hoffs <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2026\/03\/17\/traditional-irish-music\/\" target=\"_new\">in a comment<\/a>; I did not mention her by name on the blog.  <em>Oh, no.
