Here&#8217;s the list, with the ones I remember in bold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Blackjack chewing gum<\/b> <i>(It and its cousins made a brief comeback in the 1980s.)<\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Wax Coke-shaped bottles with colored sugar water<\/b>\n<li><b>Candy cigarettes<\/b>\n<li><b>Soda-pop machines that dispensed bottles<\/b>\n<li><b>Coffee shops with tableside jukeboxes<\/b> <i>(Come on, some retro places still have these.)<\/i>\n<li>Home milk delivery in glass bottles with cardboard stoppers\n<li><b>Party lines<\/b> <i>(We had them in Jefferson County, Missouri, until 1987 or 1988.)<\/i>\n<li>Packards <i>(But I do remember <b>Packard Bells<\/b>.)<\/i>\n<li>P.F. Flyers <i>(But I do remember <b>Radio Flyers<\/b>.  Metal Radio Flyers.)<\/i>\n<li>Butch wax\n<li>Peashooters\n<li>Howdy Doody\n<li><b>S&#038;H Green Stamps<\/b> <i>(Not Eagle Stamps.  See <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2006\/04\/22\/things-that-make-me-feel-old\/\" target=\"_new\">this post<\/a> from April 2006.)<\/i>\n<li><b>Hi-fi systems<\/b>\n<li>Newsreels before the movie\n<li><b>45-RPM records&#8230;and 78-RPM records<\/b> <i>(I still own some 45s.)<\/i>\n<li>Telephone numbers with a word prefix (e.g., Olive-6933)\n<li><b>Metal ice trays with levers<\/b> <i>(See <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2006\/03\/06\/things-that-make-me-feel-old-metal-ice-trays\/\" target=\"_new\">this post<\/a> from March 2006)<\/i>\n<li><b>Mimeograph paper<\/b> <i>(And the glorious smell of the ink and the warmth of the fresh copies.)<\/i>\n<li><b>Blue flashbulbs<\/b>\n<li><b>Rollerskate keys<\/b>\n<li>Cork popguns\n<li><b>Drive-in theatres<\/b>\n<li>Studebakers\n<li>Washtub wringers\n<\/ul>\n<p>That makes me 14 of 25, and I am not yet 35.
