The state argued Google was \u201cunlawfully tracking and collecting users\u2019 private data.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paxton claimed, for example, that Google collected millions of biometric identifiers, including voiceprints and records of face geometry, through such products and services as Google Photos and Google Assistant.<\/p>\n<p>Google spokesperson Jos\u00e9 Casta\u00f1eda said the agreement settles an array of \u201cold claims,\u201d some of which relate to product policies the company has already changed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Do you think they were just <em>looking at<\/em> those voiceprints, or do you think they were globally matching voices with spoken text <em>from any recording or open mic everywhere<\/em>?
