Aces Lileks&#8217; Quiz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, not a quiz <em>per se<\/em>, but <a href=\"https:\/\/lileks.com\/bleats\/archive\/25\/0325\/21.html\" target=\"_new\">yesterday<\/a> Lileks posted a screen grab from the original <em>Taking of Pelham 123<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/takingofpelham123tothezoo.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Ooops, sorry, that&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2017\/12\/13\/a-photoshop-that-fans-of-eric-carle-and-john-godey-will-appreciate\/\" target=\"_new\">something else<\/a>, and Travolta was in the remake, not the original.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what Lileks posted:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/lileksscreengrab.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>And I thought: &#8220;Hey, I&#8217;ve been in a physical book store in my life!&#8221;  Wait, no, I thought: &#8220;I have that book.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/thewaythingswork2vols.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Later book club editions that I bought <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2008\/08\/14\/good-book-hunting-august-13-2008\/\" target=\"_new\">in 2008<\/a> and will read&#8230;. someday.
