I found a wonderful sitter for my greyhound, Elvis, through the referral program of Golden State Greyhound Adoption. My sole concern has been that sometimes I suspect he prefers her to me. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>No doubt the government-solves-everything crowd and the organized pet sitters with organizations and whatnot know that their preferred solution is <i>a license<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Author of the piece identifies some handy due dilligence for selecting a pet sitter in a free marketplace, but <i>caveat emptor<\/i> can always be solved when you knock out that damn <i>laissez-faire<\/i>.
