Many groups have not caused issues.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>No, it is clear:  It&#8217;s TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>Full disclosure: My boys dressed up to go see the film on the first.  We thought that is one of the notions that gets into the older boy&#8217;s head from time-to-time until I saw the son of friends on Facebook also dressed up to see the film in the theater.  So then I thought <em>TikTok<\/em>.  In an unrelated note, when talking with my boys, I call it <em>the<\/em> TikTok to emphasize how old and out-of-touch I want them to think I am. <\/p>\n<p>Man, that Chinese application can get the kids to do some crazy things!  <em>How scared should I be?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I would also normally riff a bit on how this might be a 20-something journalist getting something wrong and being ignorant of <em>things he or she is too old for<\/em>, but reading these little AP filler stories, I am not completely convinced that they&#8217;re not written by AI.  I mean, this story and another I read this morning (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ky3.com\/2022\/07\/10\/self-checkout-growing-even-though-no-one-likes-it\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Self-checkout growing even though no one likes it<\/a>) follow a similar template.  A trend mentioned with a non-specific example followed by a counterpoint of sorts.
