{"id":29667,"date":"2022-03-21T17:53:04","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T22:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=29667"},"modified":"2022-03-21T17:53:04","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T22:53:04","slug":"another-soundex-heard-from","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2022\/03\/21\/another-soundex-heard-from\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Soundex Heard From"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to showing me ads for every individual song that <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2022\/03\/04\/know-the-difference\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Misa<sup>1<\/sup><\/a> (not to be confused with Maysa or <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2022\/03\/05\/further-disclarification\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Misia<\/a>) has released, Facebook has started showing me ads for Messa:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/messa.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Who the heck is Messa?  Apparently, the genre is <a href=\"https:\/\/messaproject.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">described by Messa<\/a> as Scarlet Doom.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Messa emerged on the first day of 2014. The extreme diversity of their musical background immediately proved to be essential in the construction of the band\u2019s sound: Prog, Black Metal, Punk, Dark Ambient, jazz, Blues and Doom\u2026 all those influences have been channelled into a sonic cauldron that the band defines \u201cScarlet Doom\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what they sound like:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o6qFXKrI7Tw\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Facebook sure seems to think I like some odd and disparate music.  I&#8217;m not helping that I often purchase the odd and disparate music that Facebook shows me.
