The headline is a little misleading (Courteney Cox admits she doesn\u2019t remember being on \u2018Friends\u2019<\/a>) as what she says is a little different:<\/p>\n

Courteney Cox made a shocking revelation when she admitted that she doesn\u2019t remember much of her time filming \u201cFriends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cox, 57, recently sat down with \u201cToday\u2019s\u201d Willie Geist for an extended \u201cSunday Sitdown\u201d interview when the actress shared that she realized there were a lot of gaps in her memory when she appeared on \u201cFriends: The Reunion\u201d in May 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cI should\u2019ve watched all 10 seasons because when I did the reunion and was asked questions, I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t remember being there,\u2019\u201d she laughed. \u201cYeah. I don\u2019t remember filming so many episodes.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

C’mon, man, that’s how memory kind of works when you get older. I have the first line of a poem about it–I remember my life like a history book<\/em>–because I, too, remember facts about my earlier life, but vivid recollections are few and far between.<\/p>\n

Which is a shame; I sometimes lament the loss of the flavor of things. The scent of type cleaner. The smell of the corridor leading to The Paint Dealer<\/em>, a magazine where I was briefly a hyphenated-editor of some sort. I can’t even see the corridor in my mind, although I know it was up a flight of stairs and toward the back of the building. I know the facts, but I cannot reproduce the experience in my mind.<\/p>\n

So this is not shocking that Courteney Cox does not remember every single day of her job twenty-some years ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
