{"id":29479,"date":"2022-01-23T08:06:41","date_gmt":"2022-01-23T14:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=29479"},"modified":"2022-01-22T13:11:10","modified_gmt":"2022-01-22T19:11:10","slug":"until-next-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2022\/01\/23\/until-next-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Until Next Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I saw this headline, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10429289\/Buddhist-monk-brought-mindfulness-West-dies-Vietnam.html\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Buddhist monk who brought &#8216;mindfulness&#8217; to the world dies peacefully aged 95 at Vietnamese temple<\/a>, and I thought, <em>surely not Thich Nat Hanh<\/em>, but it was.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read his books <em><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/14\/book-report-thundering-silence-by-thich-nhat-hanh-1993\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Thundering Silence<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/25\/book-report-peace-of-mind-becoming-fully-present-by-thich-nhat-hanh-2013\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Peace of Mind: Becoming Fully Present<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I guess I should not have been terribly surprised that he was still around&#8211;<em>Peace of Mind<\/em> was published but eight years ago.  Maybe nine.  Sorry, I am still on 2021 in my mental arithmetic.  <\/p>\n<p>Jeez, this blog is nothing but death notices of late, ainna?
