I go some days without checking in, but I do like to go and see what I’ve posted on this date in the past, and some organizations with whom I deal use it as the primary communications channel. But I’m not posting a lot of content over there to fill the data mines.

And, seemingly, I have muted most everyone, or no one I know is posting much, either. Because my feed tends to fill with various non-sequiturs and seemingly random advertisements and recommendations. I think the ratio of random sponsored stuff and actual friends’ posts is closing in on 1:1, and as I mentioned, some of the things don’t really make much sense to me.

That’s not to say I’m going to poke fun at the advertisements and recommendations. I mean, they might be effective to appropriate target audiences, but to me?

C’mon, man. I hate Tears for Fears. Well, hate, is a strong word, but I do change radio stations when one of their songs comes on (and they do sometimes yet). I did not care for the protowoke sensitivity forty years ago. It has not grown on me since.

Hahahaha. I just cancelled my brief re-subscription in November. So, no.

My food intolerances? Seriously, what? I suppose a lot of older athletes are attuned to this sort of thing, but I don’t have any food intolerances that I know of, and I don’t think I will get tested to find out. The only cause and effect that I suffer from related to food is that lunch makes me want to take a nap. Since I work from home, I can often do that, so perhaps suffer is not the word I should use here.

Wait, what? I am not sure who Lacie Lowry is or why I would follow her; or why Facebook thinks I follow high school girls’ basketball. Maybe because I’ve posted a picture or two of my children playing basketball? I do like McDonalds, though, but don’t eat it that much, and I certainly don’t talk about it.

The what?
