I got an email from the school yesterday with the subject line Major Announcement at Marquette University<\/strong>. I opened it, sort of expecting news that the school, which has not been making me proud recently<\/a>, had broken with the Catholic Church or was renaming itself to get away from a dead white European proselytizer. (No; apparently a guy who graduated eight years before I did just donated $31,000,000–jeez, what have I done with my life?
