Meet the top candidates<\/a> has five candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>George Stephanopoulos, the former Clinton White House staffer who is now a television political commentator.<\/li>\n<li>Betty White, which is based on a joke Trebek made once about a suitable replacement.<\/li>\n<li>Ken Jennings, the winningest Jeopardy! contestant.<\/li>\n<li>Laura Coates, a CNN legal analyst talking head.<\/li>\n<li>Alex Faust, a hockey play-by-play announcer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Come on, two political talking heads are on the short list?  Really?<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, it&#8217;s Ken Jennings, right?
