{"id":27001,"date":"2020-10-25T09:01:58","date_gmt":"2020-10-25T14:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=27001"},"modified":"2020-10-27T13:45:59","modified_gmt":"2020-10-27T18:45:59","slug":"easily-confused-to-an-algorithm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2020\/10\/25\/easily-confused-to-an-algorithm\/","title":{"rendered":"Easily Confused, To An Algorithm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I was trying to play Naz&#8217;s album <em>Time After<\/em> (yes, the one with <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/28\/you-can-play-that-again\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Time After Time&quot;<\/a> on it, not that Naz has made a second album for you to confuse the two).<\/p>\n<p>But on my Portable Device, I tapped and held the artist, and it came up with a photo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/wrongnaz.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Wait a minute, that is not <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nazvoice.com\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nazia Chaudry<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/rightnaz.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>So I did a little bit of Internet sleuthing, which means a search for <em>naz musical artist<\/em>, which came up with Naina Naz:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/nainanaz.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Who is apparently an electronic traditional pop Pakistani singer:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9sh4ssQseFs\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Who hails from a land where only men go to concerts or something.<\/p>\n<p>The image on my phone does not look like her.<\/p>\n<p>So I did a new fangled image search, and I discovered this is Japanese electronic pop artist <a href=\"https:\/\/nazofficial.net\/s\/y\/?ima=3130#\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Naz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since I have great affection for Japanese\/Japanese American fusion jazz, I gave it a listen just in case, but no.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fSWWT_8jh3Q\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Not my thing, but it would have been right up Charles&#8217; alley.<\/p>\n<p>You know what is my thing?  <em>Wishing the right Naz would put out another album<\/em> since her cover of Billy Joel&#8217;s &#8220;And So It Goes&#8221; is not on <em>Time After<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C5hqRI3Qx88\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I was trying to play Naz&#8217;s album Time After (yes, the one with &quot;Time After Time&quot; on it, not that Naz has made a second album for you to confuse the two).
