{"id":26229,"date":"2020-05-17T07:36:28","date_gmt":"2020-05-17T12:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=26229"},"modified":"2020-05-16T19:43:13","modified_gmt":"2020-05-17T00:43:13","slug":"the-game-where-i-became-a-lefty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2020\/05\/17\/the-game-where-i-became-a-lefty\/","title":{"rendered":"The Game Where I Became A Lefty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have previously mentioned that Isis liked to <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2018\/06\/29\/other-cat-games-of-nogglestead\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">get into the laundry basket to play her game<\/a> after I emptied it of laundry to fold.<\/p>\n<p>Somewhere in the last couple of years, I&#8217;ve altered my habit; instead of putting the basket on its base on the bench after emptying the laundry to fold, I&#8217;ve started setting it on the floor on its side instead.<\/p>\n<p>So now, to play, Isis jumps onto the bed amidst the laundry to fold and <em>pretends<\/em> like she wants to be petted.  Or that she can be petted.  But once the hand comes out, she rolls on her back and <em>it&#8217;s on<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I have a black belt in a martial art.  I should have no problem with this game.  I even established some ground rules.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/touchthemeankittygame200.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The main point of the game is for me to try to touch her, and she tries to prevent it.<\/p>\n<p>I am pretty good at this game, although I use the two-handed &#8220;Look at this hand&#8211;whilst the other pokes you!&#8221; method which does not earn me double points.<\/p>\n<p>Not that I get too much of a high score going.  <em>That kitty is fast!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have previously mentioned that Isis liked to get into the laundry basket to play her game after I emptied it of laundry to fold.
