The first was on Facebook post by Bill Whittle and the second was on today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/lileks.com\/bleats\/archive\/19\/1119\/110519.html\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bleat<\/a> by James Lileks.  So I guess it&#8217;s a thing in Internet places where one contends with Millenials.  I don&#8217;t, so I haven&#8217;t seen it, and I&#8217;m not a boomer anyway.<\/p>\n<p>But I see &#8220;OK Boomer&#8221; and immediately I think of the Benji knock-off:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/heresboomer.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re of a certain age, it probably triggers the theme song in your head.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KEydDUnzi-4\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the flickering representation while it lasts, which will be until the automated copyright checking algorithms find it and I have to replace it in the post with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9yms6tkiMtI\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the German version<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;ve seen the rejoinder &#8220;OK Boomer&#8221; [sic] twice this week, and it&#8217;s only Tuesday.
