Hey, it happens; once I saw the name and picture of the kid who sat behind me in 8th grade Civics class with Mrs. Padgett, but he wasn&#8217;t a kid anymore.<\/p>\n<p>In the new neighborhood, I check the news stories to see how close tornadoes came to Nogglestead.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ky3.com\/content\/news\/Tornado-damages-homes-4-large-metal-power-poles-southeast-of-Republic-Mo-563578901.html\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">This one<\/a>?  Very close indeed.  According to a map in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenecountycommonwealth.com\/taxonomy\/term\/8\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Greene County Commonwealth<\/em><\/a>, it ran just a little south of here:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/tornadopath.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>It was passing to our south when the weather radio alarm went off with the tornado warning.
