Although every generation gets the Bruce Campbell hero it needs<\/a>, he will have some big shoes to fill when he hosts Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Best known for the \u201cEvil Dead\u201d franchise and USA\u2019s \u201cBurn Notice\u201d \u2014 not to mention his bestselling autobiography, \u201cIf Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor\u201d \u2014 he is now hosting the latest installment of \u201cRipley\u2019s\u201d (Sundays at 9 p.m. on the Travel Channel).<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought \u2018Ripley\u2019s\u2019 was a good fit for me because the people who follow what I do, they like stuff on the edge, and that\u2019s what \u2018Ripley\u2019s\u2019 is,\u201d says Campbell, 60, on the phone from his home in the self-proclaimed \u201cwilds of Oregon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been around for 100 years, so everyone\u2019s heard of them,\u201d says Campbell. \u201cIn my formative years, there was always some form of Ripley\u2019s book or publication [in the house]. I still have the red, cloth-bound Ripley\u2019s book that I had in my living room. It had all these crazy illustrations of people doing amazing things.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
