It is 150 pages of roughly 5&#8243; by 5&#8243; paper containing 9 Native American myths\/tales, many of which feature Raven, the trickster god (?).<\/p>\n<p>The stories are whimsical, and the flavor of the Native American\/American Indian myths differs from those of the classical Greek myths.  They&#8217;re more <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2018\/06\/23\/book-report-the-song-of-hiawatha-by-henry-wadsworth-longfellow-1982\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Hiawatha<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2015\/02\/11\/book-report-the-harvard-classics-folk-lore-and-fable-by-aesop-the-brothers-grimm-and-hans-christian-andersen\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Brothers Grimm<\/a>, at least in the fantastic elements but not as bloody.<\/p>\n<p>You could probably read these to your kids without fear of harming their sensibilities, and Disney could probably make them into films without too many changes.
