{"id":2103,"date":"2005-03-28T16:16:00","date_gmt":"2005-03-28T16:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=2103"},"modified":"2018-07-03T12:42:05","modified_gmt":"2018-07-03T17:42:05","slug":"2103","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2005\/03\/28\/2103\/","title":{"rendered":"Timely Insight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/TRAVEL\/03\/28\/airport.security.ap\/index.html\" target=\"_new\">Gun scare closes part of Cincinnati airport<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Part of Cincinnati&#8217;s main airport was temporarily shut down Sunday after a passenger passed through a security checkpoint with what appeared to be a gun in a carryon bag, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Baggage screeners noticed an X-ray image that resembled a gun <b>after the passenger had picked up the bag and left the checkpoint<\/b>, said Christopher White, a Transportation Security Administration spokesman in Atlanta.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To rectify the situation, the TSA closed the airport and searched everyone beyond the checkpoint again.<\/p>\n<p>Were this a novel, movie, or an <i>actual plot<\/i>, the bad guy would have stashed the gun somewhere beyond the checkpoint for an accomplice to retrieve later.
