Steven Tyler of Aerosmith cut a country album.  Jewel cut a country album.  The trend was so prevalent that Alan Jackson wrote a song (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=si-ja75bFvI\" target=\"_new\">Gone Country<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s not a recent thing.
