Well, it&#8217;s not a quiz; it&#8217;s a slide show of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/entertainment\/arts-and-theatre\/hotlist\/beware-david-s-pumpkins-how-snl-ruined-recurring-sketches\/collection_a20549ba-c2ea-5ea6-b59a-490523ed0ce9.html#tncms-source=home-top-story-2\" target=\"_new\">worst Saturday Night Live skits turned into movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The quiz portion of it is: &#8220;How many of these has Brian J. seen in the theater?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the list; I&#8217;ve bolded the ones I saw in the theatre.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>It&#8217;s Pat: The Movie<\/em> (but I did read <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2007\/12\/07\/book-report-its-pat-by-julia-sweeney-and-christine-zandar-1992\/\" target=\"_new\">the book<\/a> which was not the movie book).<\/li>\n<li><em>Stuart [Smiley] Saves His Family<\/em> (I never found Al Franken funny, even after he started doing comedy playing that character in the Senate).<\/li>\n<li><em><b>A Night at the Roxbury<\/b><\/em> (but my friend Scott and I did not dress up for it, as we discussed).<\/li>\n<li><em><b>The Ladies Man<\/b><\/em> with my beautiful wife.<\/li>\n<li><em><b>MacGruber<\/em><\/b> with my beautiful wife.  On our anniversary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I thought one of the films in the slide show would be <em>Superstar!<\/em> as one of the slides alluded to Molly Shannon&#8217;s character, but no.  Which is just as well, because I have not seen that at all.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m pleased to have gotten a 60% on this quiz because I have a special place in my heart for bad comedies, and most of the Saturday Night Live movies fall into this class.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>StLToday.com has a quiz right in my wheelhouse.
