You&#8217;ve not heard much about him on this blog because after my parents divorced in the early 1980s, my mother got custody and moved from Milwaukee to St. Louis, so I didn&#8217;t see my father but for a couple weeks in the summer.  Eventually, I did return to Milwaukee for school and lived in his basement, but after that, when I moved back to St. Louis again, our relationship was a little strained.  Perhaps he felt a little betrayed that I didn&#8217;t stay in Wisconsin.
