The story itself was on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/business\/columns\/savvy-consumer\/article_418713fe-bd1e-55d6-bb4c-bcd01b4ce106.html\" target=\"_blank\">StLToday.com<\/a>, and it mostly focused on the Arizona company trying to bilk the old woman out of $15,000.<\/p>\n<p>Me, I just wondered how the courier knew what he was delivering.<\/p>\n<p>And so I made that little post, playing in my head to the paranoia schtick I toss around on here from time to time (I don&#8217;t actually <a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2003\/09\/14\/7147\/\" target=\"_blank\">eat my shredded documents<\/a>, you know) and a bit of the-newspaper-is-leaving-some-of-the-story-out bit.<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the courier company contacted me to explain the rest of the story, and I&#8217;ve appended it to the original post.
