That is, I haven&#8217;t wasted my time on any of them.<\/p>\n<p>I am no modern cinemataste.  I prefer my best movies no one else has seen to be seventy years old and in black and white.<\/p>\n<p>I have to admit, though, that as I got further and further into the gallery, I was a little afraid that it might include something like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00005JLRE\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B00005JLRE&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=stlbrianj-20\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Adaptation<\/em><\/a> or <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00005JMJG\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B00005JMJG&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=stlbrianj-20\" target=\"_blank\">Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind<\/a><\/em>, but whoever compiled the list is a real aficionado (that is, he or she likes to flaunt his or her familiarity with the obscure) and really seems to favor British films and documentaries.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let&#8217;s discuss my imperfections:  I have not seen every Adam Sandler movie, although I have seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000JJJF4O\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B000JJJF4O&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=stlbrianj-20\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Click<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1573625574\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1573625574&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=stlbrianj-20\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Going Overboard<\/em><\/a>, so I&#8217;ve knocked off some of the harder titles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entertainment Weekly presents a list (come on, it&#8217;s really a quiz!) called 50 Best Movies You&#8217;ve Never Seen (warning: gallery form).
