{"id":10913,"date":"2012-02-05T14:16:37","date_gmt":"2012-02-05T20:16:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/?p=10913"},"modified":"2012-02-05T14:16:37","modified_gmt":"2012-02-05T20:16:37","slug":"what-is-in-brians-cabinets-part-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/05\/what-is-in-brians-cabinets-part-1\/","title":{"rendered":"What Is in Brian&#8217;s Cabinets, Part 1 in a Continuing Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In my cabinet in the kitchen where we store our pharmaceuticals and supplements, I recently uncovered this curiosity when I tried to find a child&#8217;s liquid medicine syringe among the cat pill guns and out-of-date vitamins:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/whatisit-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/whatisit-2.jpg\" width=\"300\" alt=\"Another unknown plastic doohickey\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It is roughly five inches in width and five inches tall.  It has a main shaft and two branches on it, one of which turns up.  The second branch is flat, but curved a little.  At the bottom of the shaft is a hexagon:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/whatisit-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brianjnoggle.com\/bsgfx\/whatisit-1.jpg\" width=\"300\" alt=\"Another plastic hexagon doohickey\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Might it fit into something to turn somehow?  I have no idea.  Since it&#8217;s plastic, I assume it&#8217;s of some modern convenience, perhaps one of the various kitchen apparatuses we&#8217;ve bought and not used.<\/p>\n<p>Again, it&#8217;s something I own, don&#8217;t know what it is, <em>but I can&#8217;t throw it away<\/em>.  It might prove vital at some point in the future.
