Offstage, but ever present, is Gen. George S. Patton, “Old Guts and Glory,” the very real figure behind the semi-fictional Hollywood concoction.
General George S. Patton was nicknamed Old Blood and Guts.
Old Guts and Glory? I think that’s Sam Elliot.
